Kate Raudenbush is an interactive installation sculptor and photographer living in New York City. She was recently awarded her third Art Grant from the Burning Man Project to create an outdoor sculpture work in steel and mirrors entitled "Duel Nature". The socially interactive mirrored sculptures "Stadium of the Self" and "Observer/Observed" were commissioned in 2005 and 2004. Kate has also created scenes and documented environments in portraits of artists and suits alike in her ten-year career as a photographer. She has had solo exhibits of her fine art series "Construction/Deconstruction" and her urban landscape series "Evidence/Observed," as well as participating in numerous group shows in New York City. She has twice been an artist-in-residence at Citizens of Utopia and was an assistant teacher at the International Center of Photography in New York. Along with her favorite creative collaborators — musicians, artists, theaters, and dance clubs — her other clients include MTV, Citigroup, Atlantic Records, Nike, and Continental Airlines. A graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, she has also studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts in New York.
